Dave Breen and BlackJack have been competing in Big Air™ competitions since 2002, making us one of the most experienced handler/dog teams. BlackJack earned his Master Title (5 jumps over 20 ft.) in 2005. Also in 2005 we competed in Extreme Vertical™ for the first time. We qualified for the 2005 Great Outdoor Games in Orlando and tied for 4th place with a personal best jump of 6'6". In 2006, Dave became a SportMutt™ certified trainer. SportMutt™ is the leader in Big Air™ training. A native of Illinois, Dave is a professor of biology and geology at Sauk Valley Community College. He has advanced degrees from Eastern Illinois University and was enrolled in the doctorate program at Southern Illinois University.
Bethany Wiltshire, PT, MS, is Rock River's Canine Rehab practitioner. A native of Missouri, Beth received her PT degree from the University of Central Arkansas in 1995. She has practiced in hospitals, nursing homes, home health, rehab hospital, and outpatient settings. Beth is currently pursuing her Canine Rehab Certification from the University of Tennessee in Knoxville. |
